Your data is backed up as part your normal iPad backups - either via iTunes or to iCloud (iCloud warning: turn on back up of your app data for iClou, double check that you have sufficient space on iCloud and that the backups are being made). You should also back up your data as described below using the 'Create email document archive' on the settings menu.

To back up individual documents you should email them to yourself. Then if you need to restore them you can simply open the email on your iPad and tap on the MeetingGold attachment. Opening the attachment in MeetingGold will reload the document and any data it contains.

From version 2.0 you can go to the settings menu and choose 'Create email document archive'. This will archive your meetings and allow you to email the archive to save it. To restore the archive just tap on it either in the email or if you've saved it to somewhere like Dropbox just tap on it and it will be restored.

If the document archive is too large to be opened in an email to be restored you should save it to Dropbox (or similar) and open it from there. Usually this will work. If you have any problems restoring an archive contact me for some help.

As with any backup you should always test it regularly and make sure that your backups are in a safe place and can be restored.
